Brittney Hibbitts - certified health coach
For years I was bound by food. I struggled daily with calorie counting and guilt all the while never finding happiness with the results. Every food was “bad” according to my restrictive diets. The harder I tried to be “good” the more miserable I was. My journey began with a negative self image, dealing with anorexia and bulimia. Today I am healthy, happy, no longer counting calories and sincerely experiencing food freedom. I enjoy food- preparing it, making it for those I love and eating it. On this journey I've also discovered the healing power of food. After struggling with migraines, I found foods that trigger these migraines as well as ones to prevent them. As the "Father of Medicine," Hippocrates said "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food". Food is here to serve us; it is here to nurture and heal us. Freedom is wonderfully addictive. We can live with confidence, enjoyment, health, fun and abundance to share with those around us. I am devoted to walking with others to this positive view of food, cooking and life. I am here to support you in reaching your personal health goals. I support my clients in developing lifelong healthy habits in food and lifestyle, positive body image, healthy weight loss, disease prevention, pain relief and the food/mood connection. |
